Street Fighter 6 World Tour – Guile Master Guide

"Let's get this mission started."

Street Fighter 6
Street Fighter 6

Street Fighter 6’s resident family man, Guile has been a mainstay of the Street Fighter series since Street Fighter 2. Sure, he might have taken a bit of a break in Street Fighter 3, with Remy filling the Sonic Booms and Flash Kicks hole left by the lack of Guile, but since then he’s been a core part of every Street Fighter release. He’s America’s hero, and the people love him.

Usually everyone’s first interaction with a charge type character, Guile’s special moves require him to hold down one direction for a little while before tapping the opposite direction and pressing an attack button. Of course, all of that is made easier with Street Fighter 6’s modern control scheme. If you’re looking to learn from one of America’s finest soldiers, here’s how you can become Guile’s student in Street Fighter 6.

Street Fighter 6 World Tour | Guile Master Guide

Guile can be encountered as part of the main story, though you’ll need to put in some work if you’re looking to learn from him. He can be found during Chapter 8-7, which takes place after your little night-time excursion/infiltration of the SiRN building in Metro City. After that, you’ll be tasked with heading to the Metro City harbour in the daytime while wearing a labcoat. Talk to the specified NPC and you’ll be whisked away to the Carrier Byron Taylor to meet with Guile himself.

After a brief introductory cutscene, take a quick photo of Guile like you have already for Ryu and E. Honda, then send them off to Asterix, the mysterious informant you’ve been working for. After completing your objective, talk to Guile again and declare your intention to train under him and you’ll have unlocked yourself a brand new master.
