SteamDB Listing Emerges For Star Wars Battlefront 3 (Classic)

Unlimited power!

Battlefront

Alright, go to the kitchen, grab the salt and get the biggest pinch of it you can hold. A SteamDB listing has been spotted, pointing to the existence of Star Wars Battlefront 3, but not a DICE follow-up. This version would be the Free Radical game that was cancelled back in 2008. The listing was first spotted by the Twitter user Thexpaw, before being reported on by MP1st.

Upon closer inspection of the database listing, it includes an End User License Agreement, which makes reference of the fact that the copyright for the game is held by Haze Studios, Free Radical, Lucasfilm and Disney. Haze Studios is a bit of an enigma, but Free Radical worked on the video game Haze, which was a PS3 shooter published by Ubisoft. Haze’s only highlight was that Korn did the theme song, but the link between Haze Studios, the Haze game and Free Radical can’t be coincidental.

The listing has seen a number of updates over the past twleve months, but the EULAs were added a few hours ago at the time of writing, suggesting this is an active project and that we could see an announcement soon. Either way, keep hold of that pinch of salt, just in case.

Thanks, MP1st.
