Starfield: Where To Find Europium

You need to look further than Europe.

Europium (or Eu) is an exotic tier 3 resource that you’ll occasionally come across during your lengthy playthrough across the galaxy in Starfield. You’ll need this resource for various crafting recipes that will no doubt help you during the midgame onwards. You can find Europium littered on corpses and storage crates as you explore, but this is part of the RNG loot pool and is not a viable method of obtaining it.

A more reliable strategy is to travel to various planets and moons that house the resource. Scanning them will reveal the resource pool that each location has. If you see Eu in the list of resources, then you have hit the jackpot. Here is a list of easy-to-access planets and moons you can find early in your playthrough:

Gryphus (Narion System)
Andraphon (Narion System)
Andromas III (Andromas System)
Ananke (Olympus System)
Smet (Olympus System)

When you land at one of these locations, you can use your hand scanner to begin the search for Europium deposits. After locating them, pull out your Cutter and mine the deposits until the resource is placed in your inventory.

Don’t forget to set up an outpost next to a Europium vein if you want lots of the resource. Place the required extractor over it and let the machine get to work. Check back in from time to time to refill your supply of this exotic material. You can always invest in some storage crates to increase the yield, or better yet, set up a Transfer Container to send the resources into your ship’s cargo.

Since Bethesda games are usually about player choice, farming Europium isn’t your only option. You can also purchase it from various vendors across the settled systems. Here are a few you can access early in your playthrough:

Jemison Mercantile (New Atlantis Spaceport)
Midtown Minerals (Akila City)
Mining League (Neon)

Starfield is available now on PC and Xbox Series X & S.
