Splinter Cell: Convinction Sneaks Onto The Xbox Backwards Compatibility Library

If you’ve been following Major Nelson’s Twitter account (like I have), waiting for the next Xbox backwards compatibility announcement, you’d know he’s busy with Rare checking out the upcoming Sea of Thieves. Still, he managed to find the time to announce the latest addition to the backwards compatibility library. Take a look for yourself below:

Though Splinter Cell: Conviction was somewhat of a departure from the standard sneaking gameplay seen in the likes of Chaos Theory and Double Agent, Conviction refined those stealth elements whilst improving the shooting aspects for when things inevitably go wrong. Personally, it’s my favourite Splinter Cell game, and I’m happy to see it get another chance via backwards compatibility. If you’ve never played it before, now is your chance, especially with it being on sale and all.

Though today’s announcement may not be as extensive as previous ones, it’s still a strong addition to the line-up. But what are your thoughts on it? Let us know in the comments below.
