With its release date inching closer, Sony Pictures have revealed the full cast list for Spider-Man Homecoming and plenty of surprises with it. If you want to go into the movie as blind as possible, turn back now.
First up, Gwyneth Paltrow returns as Pepper Pots: quite possibly the most polarising character in the whole MCU. As long as she doesn’t put on Spidey’s suit and save the day, we should all be fine. She will be also be flanked Jon Favreau’s Happy, who is the the best character in the MCU and I won’t hear otherwise.
Donald Glover is confirmed as Aaron, a.k.a. the Prowler. Michael Mando, the most intimidating man in Hollywood, will be playing Scorpion. For some reason, there are two Shockers in the movie, which brings the villain count to three. The Herman Schultz version is played by Bokeem Woodbine and the Jackson Brice Shocker will be played by Logan Marshall-Green, who you might remember from Prometheus.
Perhaps most interestingly of all, Jennifer Connelly will be playing a character called, wait for it, Suit Lady, also known as Karen. She was previously seen in Ang Lee’s Hulk movie, so let’s see how her role here pans out.
Oh, and Captain America rocks up at some point.
