What do you get when you cross the modern life lamenting of The Enemy, a hook that refuses to let up, and a raw bassline that threatens to lift you off the ground? You get the excellent ‘Modern Twat’ from England natives DaDa, which is the newest single premiere we Cultured Vultures have to offer you lucky lot.
Believe it or not, this is actually a B-side to the lead single ‘Black Horse’ off their new album ‘The Pigeon Conspiracy’, which will be landing on July 8th. The fact that they can put their all into the dessert as well as their main meal shows that DaDa are some musical chefs of the highest order (or hors d’oeuvre, if you will).
Judging from initial impressions, DaDa could go a long way if they keep up with this sort of output. It’s the shot in the arm the British rock scene needs.
