After the launch of Metal Gear, MGS 1, MGS 2 and the Castlevania and Contra collection, Konami have now decided to stealth drop Silent Hill 4: The Room onto GOG.com. Players can pick up the horror title for £7.19/$9.99.
Silent Hill 4: The Room? Is This A Tommy Wiseau Project?
Fortunately, or unfortunately depending on how you feel about cult classic films from the early 2000s, Silent Hill 4: The Room has nothing to do with the film The Room. The main character won’t scream about how their partner, Lisa, is tearing them apart, emotionally at least. There’s more than a few characters in this game that are being torn apart in a much more visceral sense.
Originally released for the PC, PS2 and original Xbox back in 2004, this was the first game in the series to ditch the titular town. Instead, Silent Hill 4: The Room mostly took place in the apartment of Henry Townshend. An introvert who’s been locked in his apartment for days, he finds a hole in the wall of his bathroom that leads to alternate dimensions.
