Shadow Warrior 2 Will Be Out in “Less Than Two Months”

Shadow Warrior 2

Although I wasn’t the hugest fan of the Shadow Warrior reboot, I will admit that it did have its charms. It’s kind of hard not to appreciate Duke Nukem with swords, so I am pretty intrigued to see how Shadow Warrior 2 fares when it comes out on PC in October.

Its synopsis:

“Shadow Warrior 2 is the stunning evolution of Flying Wild Hog’s offbeat first-person shooter following the further misadventures of former corporate shogun Lo Wang. Now surviving as a reclusive mercenary on the edge of a corrupted world, the formidable warrior must again wield a devastating combination of guns, blades, magic and wit to strike down the demonic legions overwhelming the world. Battle alongside allies online in four-player co-op or go it alone in spectacular procedurally-generated landscapes to complete daring missions and collect powerful new weapons, armor, and arcane relics of legend.”

Early previews have compared the sequel to Diablo and Borderlands as it incorporates more RPG elements such as looting. We will just have to wait and see to find out if that big change works out for the better, but no matter what, you’re a guy with a katana. Cannot go wrong.

It’s worth bearing in mind that although Devolver Digital have been quick to confirm its release on Steam and GoG, there is no news on its console release date so far – Xbox One and PS4 players may just have to hold onto their Wangs for the time being.
