These colours don't just run, they gotta go fast.

Sega looks like they’re on the virge of announcing a remastered port of an underappreciated Sonic game, as the former Wii release Sonic Colours appears to be receiving the remaster treatment. If reports are to be believed, it’ll launch this year on PlayStation, Xbox and the Nintendo Switch.

How Do We Know This?

The German voice-over studio iksample listed Sonic Colours Remastered as part of its portfolio, with the listing updated back in December of 2020. The webpage containing the listing has since been taken down, which is often a decent sign that the leak they’re trying to cover up is genuine.

If that wasn’t enough, the French retailer Sogamely has listed Sonic Colours Ultimate on its website for the relatively decent price of €34.99, which works out to around £30. The original game launched in 2010 on the Wii and the Nintendo DS, and was seen as somewhat of a rare return to form for the long-running franchise.
