Sea Of Thieves Coming To Steam Soon, Cross-Play Confirmed

Hoo-rar, me boys, we're Steam-ward bound!

Sea of Thieves

Rare Studios have announced that their popular pirate game Sea of Thieves will be heading to Steam at some point soon, with cross-play enabled across Steam, Windows 10 and Xbox One. Rare announced the news via Twitter.

While there isn’t a solid release date regarding Sea of Thieves launching on Steam, the official store listing does promise that the game will be up to date with all current versions, including the Tall Tales campaign-style missions and the host of other updates that have been released since the game launched two years ago.

Sea of Thieves will join a long line of Xbox and Microsoft titles that have found their way over to Steam in recent times, as titles like Gears of War 5 and Halo: The Master Chief Collection are now available on Valve’s massive storefront. It’s likely we’ll see even more in the future. Will you be playing Sea of Thieves on Steam? Sound off in the comments.
