The Saints Row series has never taken itself too seriously, to the point of including plenty of knowing winks and nods to various other properties out there. The recent reboot certainly isn’t an exception, and while it’s not the most subtle Easter egg you’ll ever see, it’s probably one of the most leftfield examples.
In order to find the Spaceballs Easter Egg in Saints Row, you need to head to the southwestern portion of the map, in Badlands South. The reference is found in the eastern portion of that district, located south from The Swole Hole clothing store. At the very southern edge of the map, you should be able to find a giant comb, awfully reminiscent of the one found in Spaceballs.
In Spaceballs, the villain Lord Helmet is given the order to comb the desert in order to search for the film’s heroes. Cut to giant combs in a desert for a brilliant visual gag. While you don’t get anything for finding this Easter egg, it’s still a pretty funny homage to one of the best comedies ever made.
