RiME Headlines February 2018’s Free PlayStation Plus Games

Rime Game

If you sleepwalked through the start of the year like I did, let this news wake you up a bit: the PlayStation Plus free games for February 2018 have been revealed.

The headline act is RiME: Tequila Works’ almost infinitely delayed platformer that was finally unearthed last year to some warm critical acclaim. Beautiful and haunting, it’s absolutely worth a play if you haven’t yet, especially as it hasn’t dropped much in price at all since launch.

The supporting act is Knack (baybee): another platformer, but this one isn’t so good. It’s not bad, but it isn’t amazing – its sequel is a far better experience. The PS4 launch title shouldn’t be something you rush to download, though it will give you some explanation as to all the memes that surround it.

As usual, That’s Yo–my word. They finally stopped giving it out. I don’t even remember a time before That’s You!. The bonus is Starblood Arena back for another round, a PS VR title that’s a good distraction from not blowing stuff up in your normal life.

Here’s the full list:

Knack (PS4)
RiME (PS4)
StarBlood Arena (PS Plus bonus – PS VR required)
Spelunker HD (PS3)
Mugen Souls Z (PS3)
Exiles End (PS Vita)
Grand Kingdom (PS Vita & PS4)

These games will be available from the 6th of February, roughly around noon. Which are you most excited to play? Drop us your thoughts below, and also if you think that Knack is whack or not whack.
