Resident Evil 4 Remake has a lot of treasures for you to find as you venture across rural Spain, ranging from ammo to weapons to, erm, snakes. There’s many more interior locations than in the first game, with plenty of loot just out of reach thanks to all of the Locked Drawers everywhere. You don’t have to become a Master of Lockpicking, though.

To unlock Locked Drawers in Resident Evil 4, you just need to get your hands on Small Keys. While not the most numerous items in the game, you can find quite a few dotted around the village, with the first one being located in the Chief’s house.

Here are a couple of Small Key locations for the early part of Resident Evil 4, the first one in the Village Chief’s Manor and the second one in the valley.

Once you have a Small Key, interact with the Locked Drawer and use the Small Key. You have to use a different Small Key for different Locked Drawers, but at least you can use a Small Key on any Locked Drawers. As for what to expect inside the drawer, most of them carry treasure that can be sold or gemstones that can be added to treasure to make it higher value.

Resident Evil 4 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X & S.
