Red Dead Redemption 2’s Launch Trailer Shows Trouble In The Van Der Linde Gang

Red Dead Redemption 2

Ahead of the game’s release, Red Dead Redemption 2 has had its launch trailer released and shows what looks like plenty of strife within the Van Der Linde, as well as John Marston being the incredibly virtuous love that he is.

Check it out below:

“Red Dead Redemption 2, an epic tale of life in America at the dawn of the modern age, arrives for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 26th.

“Pre-order now to get the War Horse and Outlaw Survival Kit, or select the Special Edition or Ultimate Edition to receive additional bonuses and exclusive content. And starting at midnight on October 18, pre-loading for digital pre-orders on both the PlayStation Store or Xbox Store will be unlocked worldwide for all available territories. All digital pre-orders also receive bonus GTA$ for GTA Online.”

Internal politics look like they might play a huge part in Red Dead Redemption 2 with Arthur Morgan likely caught up in at all. We know that by the events of the original game that the gang have split far and wide, so this prequel may show how that unfolds. It will be interesting to see Arthur’s role in all of this: from all of the pre-release trailers shown to date, he seems to be not a very good dude.

Again, it’s a short trailer coming in at just a minute long with plenty of dips to black and a restrained mood, so we perhaps shouldn’t read too much into it.

Red Dead Redemption 2 releases on October 26th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
