Reclusive Author Cormac McCarthy Found on Tinder!

CORMAC MCCARTHY TINDER

Cormac McCarthy is known for being one of the best writers of our time. The works that most people recognise tend to be Blood Meridian, No Country For Old Men and The Road. It’s been 10 years since he’s released a novel, and speculation about whether he will win a Nobel Prize for Literature keeps being speculated.

Though, McCarthy has recently been busy with other projects. One of our staff members, whom will remain anonymous, recently came across the acclaimed author on Tinder on a trip through Santa Fe. McCarthy’s profile featured the author in a combination of publicity and personal photos.

Our staff member reached out to those that had matched with McCarthy who claimed the author reported finding entertainment in describing girls like his novels. The ones who got called “Child of God” were reportedly happy, and even went as far to suggest grabbing coffee with the author, though the ones who were described as “All The Pretty Horses” quickly rebuffed his advances and unmatched.

One of the most surprising revelations is that McCarthy is aware of internet slang, and is even known to occasionally throw in a LOL into the conversation should it be deemed funny. This may have been at his own expense because the Tinderella did state that they enjoyed the film adaptation of his novel, All The Pretty Horses, which garnered much more negative reviews than any of McCarthy’s other adaptations.

Whether McCarthy’s appearance on Tinder means that there’s trouble in his personal life, or perhaps just that he is experimenting with new forms, remains unknown. Maybe, in an attempt to clinch the Nobel Prize, he is finally writing the Great American Tinder novel, and embracing postmodernism in full force. Either way, we’re curious, and will swipe right on whatever he releases in the future.
