Publisher Raw Fury has announced that Night Call, a taxi-driving mystery game, will release on July 17th for Steam and as part of Xbox Game Pass for PC.
Developed by Monkey Moon and Black Muffin, Night Call is also due for a console release later in the year.
“A serial killer is loose, and the police suspect you, since you were the last person seen with the most recent victim. Do whatever you can in order to find the real killer or they will pin it all on you.”
If you can’t find the serial killer on the first go-around, you can jump back in and try again — but it might not be the same person. You get to whittle down the suspects by taking cab fares and micro-managing fuel levels across a night shift.
Having played Night Call at EGX Rezzed 2019, it’s one that’s been on my radar for a minute. Though it may not be the best comparison, it reminds me a lot of a mix between Where The Water Tastes Like Wine and VA-11 HALL-A while dripping in classic noir style.
Does this seem like something that’s up your street?
Sorry.
