Psychological Horror Someday You’ll Return Launches This April

Time to get lost in a forest.

Someday You'll Return

CBE Software have just announced the release date for Someday You’ll Return, a much-anticipated psychological horror that was revealed last year. You will be able to descend into madness in some lovely looking forest on April 14th, 2020 for PC.

Taking place in the Czech Republic while featuring some of the region’s picturesque landmarks, you play as a father who’s trying to find his missing daughter in a forest that he swore he would never return to.

A quick synopsis:

Someday You’ll Return is a narrative-driven psychological horror game with intimate concepts of fatherhood, fears, lies and refusal to accept one’s past. You play Daniel, father of Stela, your runaway daughter. While trying to find her, you’re forced by events to return to a place that you swore never return to, the ancient Moravian forests.

And the release date announcement trailer:

Rest assured, it’s not going to be a picnic in the woods. Someday You’ll Return won’t feature ghoulies as much as it will the monsters of your own mind in a game that will also feature crafting, stealth, karma (it’s about time that came back), and herbalism among other mechanics.

Someday You’ll Return is high on our watchlist for horror games this year, but if you want to wait for a console version, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be supported later in 2020.
