PSVR’s Firewall Zero Hour Gets Free Weekend Trial

Bring your aim and your Aim.

Firewall Zero hour 4

Not had a chance to play the excellently terrifying and tense Firewall Zero Hour on PlayStation VR just yet? You will have a chance to give it a try from June 28th until June 30th if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber as part of a free weekend trial.

As well as that, players will also earn double XP over the course of the free weekend. This applies to all players, so if you’re thinking of starting your corner-peeking career early, you will get a headstart.

Firewall, which is developed by First Contact Entertainment, is a VR-only online multiplayer FPS that is best described as Rainbow Six Siege in virtual reality. You can use a DualShock to aim, but a PSVR Aim is advised — it’s actually one of only a few games that take advantage of the peripheral.

The free weekend comes hot on the heels of the addition of Operation: Nightfall, which added new missions, rewards, and the Op-Pass. It seems like there’s a lot of life left in Firewall.

From our Firewall review:

“Firewall Zero Hour is a game that deserves all the players it gets. With some slight tweaks to progression and the occasional content refresh, Firewall may just prove to be a turning point in converting the masses to virtual reality gaming.”
