Princess Peach has often only played a side character in a lot of Mario games, or one of several playable characters such as in the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Wonder, but Nintendo have finally given her a stage of her own on the Nintendo Switch to shine on in Princess Peach: Showtime. And yes, we do mean stage. Princess Peach: Showtime is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch on March 22nd, 2024, and you can check out the trailer for yourself at the top of the page.
Princess Peach: Showtime will see the ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom travel to the Sparkle Theater to enjoy herself, only to find that Grape and the Sour Bunch have taken it over. Teaming up with the Theater’s guardian Stella, Peach will be able to transform into a host of different abilities, including Swordfighter and Kung Fu Master, while she’ll also have to solve mysteries using her Detective Peach form. All told, this could be a real winner for the Nintendo Switch.
