Pokémon The Movie: The Power of Us Revealed For Theatrical Release

The official announcement for the international release of Pokémon The Movie: Everyone’s Story, recently released in Japan, has revealed that the international title for the film will be Pokémon The Movie: The Power of Us in a newly dubbed trailer.

It has also been announced that the film will receive a theatrical release in the United States on November 24th, 26th, 28th, and on the 1st of December. It will also receive a theatrical release in other parts of the world on as of yet unannounced dates.

Pokémon The Movie: The Power of Us continues the alternate universe retelling that began in Pokémon The Movie: I Choose You and its title refers back to the second movie, The Power of One, released in 2000, which also featured fan favourite Lugia. Zeroara, the mythical Pokémon released in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, is also featured in the movie. The synopsis reads as follows:

“When a series of mysterious incidents threatens the people and Pokémon who inhabit a small seaside town, it’ll take more than Ash and Pikachu to save the day!”

The trailer for the movie offers a very unique style and features beautiful animation produced by none other than Wit Studio, the animation team behind Attack on Titan, so this could be the most interesting film to date.
