Microsoft’s confusingly vague E3 2017 briefing seems to have confused even Sony.
In the midst of all the different kinds of exclusives they were pushing during their time on-stage, Microsoft also held a worldwide gameplay premiere for BioWare’s Anthem running on the Xbox One X. Weeks later, the PlayStation YouTube channel has uploaded what looks like the same video with some botched editing.
Someone has just changed the button prompts.
If you squint at the video below at 3:39, you will be able to notice the Xbox overlay fades into the PlayStation one instead.

This is all kinds of problematic. If Sony or BioWare have just -essentially- ripped the E3 video and changed the prompts, that’s disingenuous at best, false advertising at worst. Anthem may not look like the video above at all on PS4 or PS4 Pro.
Anthem is coming out next year for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
