Since the launch of the new PlayStation Plus tiers, Sony have steadily been adding games to their Extra and Premium tiers, but that doesn’t mean that the Essential tier is being forgotten about. According to a new leak from Dealabs, who have been consistent with leaks for PlayStation Plus in the past, August 2022’s PlayStation Plus games for the Essential tier looks like one of the best months in a long time.
The leak suggests that from August 2nd, PlayStation Plus subscribers of every tier will be able to claim Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 for PS4 and PS5, Yakuza: Like A Dragon for PS4 and PS5, and Little Nightmares for PS4. Once a subscriber has claimed these games, they’ll be available for as long as they remain subscribed to PlayStation Plus. These games will then be available until September 5th.
Currently, the PlayStation Plus games available on the Essential tier are Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan and Arcadegeddon. These games will be available until August 1st, with the August line-up becoming available the day after.
