PlayStation Classic Trailer Makes History And Plays History

Sony have released a new trailer for the PlayStation, which shows off some of the exciting games the system will offer.

Sony

Saying that Sony plagiarized Nintendo with the PlayStation Classic is like saying two plus two equals four, although we’re still looking forward to getting our hands on one of the miniature PlayStation consoles. Especially after watching the exciting new 30 second commercial Sony released for the system, which consists of an assortment of characters from the games featured on the PlayStation Classic interacting with each other across various locations. We never thought it would be possible to make a visually exhilarating trailer out of 5th generation visuals, but Sony somehow found a way.

The trailer opens with a voiceover proclaiming “In the beginning there was nothing, and then, there was life”, which seems to be Sony’s way of saying that life would not be worth living unless you have a PlayStation Classic. We would have agreed with them, had it not been for the fact that the system won’t include PaRappa the Rapper. Either way, if you’d like to see what the PlayStation Classic has to offer, have a look at the commercial below.

The PlayStation Classic will be priced at $99.99, and will feature a plethora of classic games, including Tekken 3, Wild Arms, Twisted Metal, and Mr. Driller, as well as third-party titles such as Grand Theft Auto, Resident Evil, Rayman, and of course, Metal Gear Solid. In other words, it will have something for everyone, so make sure you mark December 3 in your calendars.
