Planet Coaster: Console Edition Delayed, Coming To PS5 & Xbox Series X

Life is a rollercoaster.

Frontier Developments have announced that Planet Coaster: Console Edition has been delayed until the Holiday season of 2020, but that means it’ll be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X, along with PS4 and Xbox One. The news was announced via the official Planet Coaster Twitter account.

In the announcement, Frontier make note that the advanced technology of the next-gen hardware has improved the core experience for console players. All four versions of the game will launch at the same time at the end of the year, though Frontier haven’t announced whether or not Planet Coaster will support Smart Delivery.

Planet Coaster has been available on PC since 2016, and it’s been incredibly well received as one of the best theme park management games ever made. Fingers crossed that the game will translate well to consoles when it launches at the end of the year.
