Ally Pally's ticket sales just got bumped.

‘The Bruiserweight’ Pete Dunne will be making his return to Progress Wrestling on September 15th at Alexandra Palace. The former WWE UK Champion last competed for the indie promotion in December of last year, defeating Tyler Bate in a surprise main event at the annual Unboxing chapter.

Dunne seemingly called it a day with Progress Wrestling that evening, but thanks to the close relationship between NXT UK and Progress, the modern legend has been granted the opportunity to return to his old stomping grounds.

Word on who Dunne’s opponent will be at Chapter 95 is still up in the air. I would put my money on ‘The Bruiserweight’ entering the Proteus Championship Rumble match, or fulfilling a massive dream match in front of the Progress faithfuls.

Fellow NXT UK stars will also be in attendance, Walter will defend his Progress Championship in the main event against David Starr and Grizzled Young Veterans will likely be defending their tag titles on the show. But having Pete Dunne on the card has proven to be a huge draw for the show at Ally Pally.
