Pete Dunne Makes His WWE Raw Debut in Manchester

Pete Dunne NXT Champion

This season’s UK tour has probably been one of the most stacked and raucous in recent memory. Not only had Triple H returned to compete alongside The Shield (filling in for Reigns post-illness), but fans of the UK division were treated to a massive main roster debut on tonight’s (the 6th) edition of Raw.

The United Kingdom champion Pete Dunne has been making waves all over the world since the start of the year and now has his first appearance on a WWE flagship show to add to his list of feats in 2017. Receiving the biggest pop of the night and creating one hell of a moment in the meantime, Dunne answered the call to shut the mouth of the Cruserweight Champion, Enzo Amore.

Getting the win on home turf must have been an incredible moment for Pete and all the fans watching live. I for one am so happy to see the Bruiserweight stealing the show on Raw and hope that this momentum is only going to continue going forward. Even if this is only a one time appearance for Dunne (for now, at least) then it was an incredible one time.
