Peaky Blinders: Mastermind, the first video game adaptation of the BBC hit, lands today (August 20th) for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch.

Developed by Futurlab and published by Curve Digital, Peaky Blinders: Mastermind is set before the events of the first season and follows Tommy Shelby’s rise to the top of the Peaky Blinders.

An RTS puzzle-adventure game, players can take control of Tommy himself, as well as Arthur, Polly, and other members of the Shelby clan as they look to quell a conspiracy to put the Blinders out of business.

Here’s the trailer for Peaky Blinders: Mastermind.

Witness the rise of Tommy Shelby as the true leader of the Peaky Blinders in early 20th century Birmingham. Players will utilise Tommy’s prowess for planning to set up and execute complex scenarios. They can also take control of Tommy himself, Arthur, Polly and more, as they pull off one dastardly mission after the other.

Reviews so far for Peaky Blinders: Mastermind have been solid, but not all that great. A few publications have given the game as high as a 9, while others are decidedly more mixed. On Metacritic, the game currently sits on a 67 for PS4, 60 for PC, and there are only two reviews for the Xbox One version at this time of writing, but both are positive. There are no reviews for the Switch version.

This is the second collaboration with a huge TV property for Curve in recent memory with them also publishing Narcos: Rise of the Cartels late last year, but the reception for that was much frostier.

Peaky Blinders, meanwhile, concluded its fifth season late last year with record ratings, almost double the average amount of viewers as Season 4.
