One-Punch Man Season 2 Release Date Revealed, Coming To Hulu

No news on other non-US markets, however.

The long-awaited One-Punch Man Season 2 will launch on Hulu in the west on April 8th, Viz Media have announced. No news on how international viewers will watch the English dub, unfortunately.

Viz Media in a statement:

“It’s official, we have a date — Season 2 of One-Punch Man (subtitled) will begin streaming on April 9th exclusively on Hulu! ! This new season you can expect A) a lot of punching! B) a lot of comedy and C) a lot more punching! The first season of the anime was a smash hit that sent shockwaves around the globe and fans have been thirsty for more.”

They also released a new poster to coincide with the news.

One Punch Man Season 2

Season 2 of One Punch Man is expected to heavily feature Garou, who was hinted at in the first season as the crazed disciple of Silver Fang. Saitama is not an ever present at this point in the manga, but the anime may diverge somewhat.

The synopsis:

“Saitama is a hero who only became a hero for fun. After three years of “special training,” he’s become so strong that he’s practically invincible. In fact, he’s too strong—even his mightiest opponents are taken out with a single punch. Now, the great seer Madame Shibabawa’s prediction about the Earth being doomed seems to be coming true as the frequency of monster incidents escalates. Alongside Genos, his faithful disciple, Saitama begins his official hero duties as a member of the Hero Association, while Garou, a man utterly fascinated by monsters, makes his appearance.”

No news on if it will be appearing on Netflix at all.
