Official Street Fighter/Transformers Crossover Looks Insane

When it comes to intercompany crossovers, it really does seem as though no idea is too crazy to work. Case in point: an official line of Street Fighter/Transformers crossover toys will be coming to Japan. Yes, Street Fighter and Transformers. Because why the heck not?

The toys will be released by manufacturer Takara Tomy, and will each feature a character from Street Fighter merged with either an Autobot or a Decepticon from Transformers. For instance, M. Bison becomes Megatron, and, naturally, Ryu becomes Optimus Prime. Thanks to Kotaku, you can view images of all the figures below.

Both the Street Fighter and Transformers franchises have individually grossed billions of dollars, so it’s safe to assume that these toys will do big business when they arrive in Japan early in May 2018. According to Engadget, they’ll cost between $76 to $115 when converted into US currency, which you should keep in mind if you’re thinking about importing.

Takara Tomy released a new video on their YouTube channel showing the toys in action, and if you’re a fan of either franchise, this should get you hyped.
