UPDATE: the games are currently showing in the UK PlayStation Store without charge. If you are having issues with downloading them, go to the PlayStation Plus tab at the far left of your PS4’s dashboard and try them from there.

Raided all the raids in Destiny 2? Decapitated every single head in God of War III? You’re probably looking forward to October 2018’s PlayStation Plus offerings, then. Luckily for you, today (October 2nd) marks them being up for grabs.

The headlining act for October is the suitably spooky Friday the 13th. While many (many) disappointed subscribers suggested that it’s too similar to Dead By Daylight, which was also included with PS Plus recently, it’s a good enough time. A surge in popularity from being on PlayStation Plus may re-energise the game.

Next up, Laser League is a multiplayer game in a similar vein to Rocket League et al, but unlike rockets, it never really took off. It’s strange as it was critically well received and by all accounts a fun time, so maybe being on PlayStation Plus will finally help it to reach an audience. We’re keeping an eye on this one, hopefully it fares better than Disc Jam.

The line-up in full:

– Laser League (PS4)
– Friday The 13th: The Game (PS4)
– Master Reboot (PS3)
– The Bridge (PS3, PS4, Vita)
– Rocketbirds 2: Evolution (Vita, PS4)
– 2064 Read Only Memories (Vita, PS4)

Remember: the games have a tendency to become available at different intervals of the day, depending on timezones. A good rule of thumb is to check at noon. Also, even if you don’t want to download the games, make sure you at least add them to your library with a press of the button to ensure you can potentially play them down the line. It’s a goldmine for Vita games.

If you’re not a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you can pick up a 12-month subscription for just $60, which gives you discount instead of paying monthly. You will have access to these games and your entire PS Plus library as long as you remain an active subscriber.

What are you looking forward to playing the most? Is Friday the 13th going to be unlucky for some? Will Laser League get to the top of the table? Drop us a comment down below.
