NXT Will Go Live On Fox Sports 1

NXT TV is coming to TV!

WWE

As first rumoured by Wrestling News Observer, NXT TV is officially going live as part of WWE’s new deal with Fox Broadcasting. Since its inception, NXT TV episodes have been taped in advance at Full Sail University, but for the first time, we’ll be seeing the stars of the developmental brand perform live on a weekly basis. Although there has been a slight change, NXT will now have it’s timeslot doubled, going from just a one hour slot to two hours.

Ultimately, this is to compete with AEW’s show on TNT. WWE believe that with the extra added hour and an endless supply of main roster and developmental talent to bolster up the show, there’s no way they will fail in the ratings war.

It’s currently unknown as to whether NXT will start touring outside of Florida, or remain stationed at Full Sail University. Regardless, this is truly exciting news for NXT fans.
