As part of their week of new Metro Exodus updates, Deep Silver and 4A games have released a new story trailer for Metro Exodus. It certainly looks like it’s taken what we saw most recently from Last Light to the next level in terms of presentation.

The story trailer doesn’t actually detail a great deal about the story, just that the apocalypse has spread across the globe and not just Russia, as well as possibly that Artyom still doesn’t have a voice that he uses in-game; the narration here comes from his wife. Artyom and co. will be travelling across Russia in a year-long journey to find hope.

“Narrated from the perspective of Anna, the Spartan Order’s top sniper and Artyom’s wife, the Story Trailer explores the hostile world of Metro Exodus that lies in wait for the crew of the Aurora as they flee the ruins of Moscow and embark on an epic year-long journey into the unknown. Artyom always believed that there was life beyond the Metro – now his hopes and dreams will be put to the ultimate test in the crucible of the Russian wastelands.”

In other news, the game will ship with a Photo Mode available on all consoles. Metro Exodus launches February 15th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
