Jaw Drop Games and Raw Fury have today revealed a new teaser trailer for their upcoming rhythm-based FPS Gun Jam, joining a growing genre of games best popularised by BPM: Bullets Per Minute. You can check out the teaser trailer for yourself at the top of the page.

Gun Jam was originally revealed/teased back in 2020 from a tweet by developer Dan De Rocha, showcasing an early build of the game in action. As the game was a work-in-progress, a lot of assets and aspects of the design have been overhauled in the two years since, with the new teaser rocking a beautifully vibrant, techno-focused art style and world design. Granted, you only see it for like five seconds, but it’s better than nothing.

As for the game’s premise, Gun Jam takes place in a city called Mubel that’s being ruled by a force known as the Beat. Powered by an entity called The Speaker, those who listen to the Beat are compelled to do The Speaker’s bidding. Naturally, you’ll be playing as a rebel looking to break The Speaker’s hold on the populace.

Gun Jam features multiple weapons and will see players listening to their own music, which comes in three different flavours: EDM, Trap and Metal. Players will use a multitude of weapons to shoot their way through the hypnotised goons of The Speaker.
