New Games Out This Week: Red Dead Redemption 2 Is Coming For You

It’s kind of crazy that it’s happening, the first new game from Rockstar in five years. After far too much waiting and a couple of delays, Red Dead Redemption 2 lands on October 26th and is bound to consume a huge amount of gamers for the foreseeable future.

Massively ambitious and just generally massive, Red Dead Redemption 2 is the most anticipated game of the year, so it should come as no surprise that the rest of the new games out this week aren’t quite up to the same billing and may be overshadowed as a result. God loves a trier and all that.

Bear in mind that the below is not a comprehensive list of all the new games to look forward to this week: there’s so much out on Steam every other second that it would be a full-time job to track it all. As an interesting sidenote, there are two Wii U games out this week.

Monday, October 22nd

– Halloween Forever (PC, PS4, Vita)
– Disgaea 5 Complete (PC)
– Do Not Feed the Monkeys (PC)

Tuesday, October 23rd

– Just Dance 2019 (everything ever made, yes, even the Wii U)
– WindJammers (Switch)

– Marvel’s Spider-Man: The Heist (PS4)

Our Pick For The Week

You guys already know the answer to this: the game that we’ve been waiting years for, the one that promises to change the game as we know, something that promises to be faithful to those that came before it as well as building on its legacy. It’s gotta be PAW Patrol: On a Roll. Wait, Red Dead Redemption 2.
