Mindhunter Arrives on Netflix This Friday the 13th

If you’re looking for something suitably unnerving to check out this Friday 13th – the spookiest of all the dates – then look no further.

Originally advertised back in August, Netflix’s new series Mindhunter looks pretty spectacular. The 10-episode run (already greenlit for a second season) explores the minds of serial killers, as two FBI agents interview multiple killers to see what makes them tick.

The show’s based off of the book Mind Hunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit, and is based upon real events; the trailer, for example, shows glimpses of figures like Charles Manson. Fun stuff.

It has the potential to go under the radar what with how much brilliant original content Netflix have been putting out, but I’d recommend checking this one out – let’s not forget, Fincher directed 2007’s Zodiac, which dealt with similar themes and ended up being a shockingly good movie.
