Metz’ New Song Cellophane Is More of the Good Stuff

Cellophane Metz

Metz are the kind of rock band your mother probably warned you about. They’re brash, rough around the edges, and as anti-social as they come.

After the excellent II from 2015, we’ve been eager to hear more from the Toronto natives. Their new song, Cellophane, is what you would come to expect from one of the finest merchants of noise around today.

Check it out.

Scuzzy and a little bit disjointed, Cellophane is every inch the Metz you know and love, but there’s definitely an air of it being more structured than what we’ve heard on previous albums. We’ll see if this is the case wholesale when ‘Strange Peace’ releases on September 22.
