With November’s offerings now out in the wild and the rearview mirror, Humble Monthly subscribers have a new batch of games to look forward to that they can play right now if they play early. The Humble Monthly offerings for December 2018 are Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience and Cities: Skylines with its After Dark DLC.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Experience is arguably the headliner for the coming month and comes with The Phantom Pain and Ground Zeroes, though Konami do cheekily try to suggest that Metal Gear Online is a third game despite the fact that it was already available in TPP. If you’ve never played the polarising fifth instalment, now’s your chance.

Cities Skylines

Cities: Skylines is the alternative for those not wanting to send soldiers up in balloons all day. It’s a city management with a staggering amount of depth and micro-management that is bolstered with its After Dark DLC. If you ever loved Sim City back in the day, this could be the next best thing.

More games are still to be revealed in the Humble Monthly, but the price of $12 remains the same. That $12 gets you access to all of Humble Monthly games as they are released and also entry to the Humble Trove: Humble’s pretty expansive offering of completely DRM-free games. As a small bonus, Monthly subscribers also get money off in the Humble Store.
