In case you didn’t know, Ubisoft’s next big project is a theme park in Malaysia. fingers crossed they don’t charge the entrance fee for the park the same way they do for their games.

It seems that theme park rides of your favourite game as opposed to your favourite film could soon become a reality, as Bioware have now jumped in on the bandwagon and are in talks with a US theme park to open a Mass Effect themed attraction.

The ride will debut at California’s Great America in 2016 and is said to be a “dynamic 3D adventure set in the Mass Effect universe,” with “cutting-edge 3D technology and 4D effects”. The ride “throws passengers right into the action” as well as visiting one of the game’s planets and battling “larger-than-life foes,” with the help of a live performer.

Claiming that this will create “a fantastical adventure that they won’t soon forget”, Bioware’s partnering with Cedar Fair for the project. The company currently operates fifteen amusement parks throughout the US.
