Over the past couple of weeks, it has been raining down hard on Mass Effect: Andromeda. From its sketchy promotional videos to the EA/Origin Access trial and reviews just before its release, it’s become something of a laughing stock.
Having spent around ten hours with the game in preparation for a review, I’m struggling to see where all the hatred is coming from. It’s nowhere near the original trilogy, but as an action RPG, it’s good. I wouldn’t say it’s more than that – it’s just good.
