The Hanging Tree is an important location in Marvel’s Midnight Suns for those wanting to find new Words of Power around the Abbey and continue the Agatha Harkness sidequest.
After you collect all of the Stained Soil from the Witch Covens as part of this very long sidequest, Agatha will show you one final clue that you need to find the Moon Seal: a picture of the Hanging Tree. You may have already come across this before without knowing what it is, but here is the location of The Hanging Tree on the map.
You may need to use your Reveal Word of Power plenty of times along the way, but it’s basically in the middle between Everflowing Glade and Shaw’s Church in a small clearing all its own near the graveyard in the area.
Once you get to The Hanging Tree, use your Reveal Word of Power on it to unearth the Moon Seal, then take this to the Elder Hyppus Shrine to continue this sidequest and get closer to your next Word of Power.
