Gloss is a resource in Marvel’s Midnight Suns that is used to purchase cosmetics, whether that’s outfits or to decorate The Abbey. The higher the rarity of an item, the more Gloss it costs.
Of all the resources in Midnight Suns, Gloss is the most numerous. As well as being found in small amounts around the Abbey on occasion, Gloss is given as a reward for most of the tasks you can complete. Completing missions is the quickest way of earning lots of Gloss, with the level of difficulty and your performance determining how much Gloss you earn.
However, plays can also earn Gloss from petting Charlie, levelling up Friendship Levels, Hangouts, and just about any activity around the Abbey has a chance of giving you some Gloss.
Gloss can also be used to buy gifts for other heroes, which will increase your Friendship Level. The higher your Friendship Level with other teammates, the better their passive abilities are.
