Marvel’s Avengers has a lot going on, so much so that it could be easy to lose track of everything you need to know as it doesn’t explain itself fully, especially when it comes to Power levels.
Power levels dictate how strong your Avenger is in Marvel’s Avengers. The max Power level is 150.
Your Power level can be increased by equipping more powerful gear, as well as boosting said gear with specific resources to increase their level. Your Power level is determined by all the gear you have across all equipped slots. For instance, having one really weak piece of gear as bracers will bring your overall Power level down.
When interacting with the War Table, you can choose any mission to play through, though you should beware of the Power level next to a mission. If there’s a green number next to the mission, you’re of a high enough Power level to take it on. If there’s a red number next to the mission, it will be much more difficult to complete as your Power level won’t be high enough and enemies will hit harder and takes less damage.
Be sure to mix and match your gear composition to not only reach a higher Power level but also to take of different perks and stat buffs.
Marvel’s Avengers is available for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Stadia. PS5 and Xbox Series X versions will release sometime down the line.
