Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite Funko Vinyls Attacking Stores in November

Marvel

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is shaping up to be a huge financial hit, with Capcom expecting it to sell over two million copies by the end of the fiscal year. So it comes as no surprise that Funko have decided to get in on the action with a series of tie-in Pop! Vinyl figures.

Set to hit stores in November, the figures will be packaged in sets of two, with each including both a Capcom and a Marvel character. So far, the confirmed sets are as follows: Captain Marvel and Chun Li, Rocket Racoon and Mega Man X, Gamora and Strider, and Ultron and Sigma. Different colour variants will also be available in select stores.

In addition to those mentioned above, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will also feature a ton of other fan favourite characters, with Spider-Man, the Hulk, Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, Ghost Rider, Black Panther, Hawkeye, and Ultron representing the comics’ side, and Morrigan Aensland, Ryu, Dante, Frank West, Sir Arthur, Nathan Spencer, Firebrand, and the Nemesis Tyrant representing Capcom. However, due to the bitter ongoing feud between Disney and Fox, X-Men and Fantastic Four characters are unlikely to appear in the game, and that’s a damn shame.

Either way, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will be released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC tomorrow. The Funko Pop! Vinyls will hit shelves in November, although the exact date has not yet been given.
