Our friends over at Game Informer have revealed some exciting new gameplay footage from Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, which shows Wolverine in action. Although it lasts for just over a minute in length, the video, which you can watch below, gives us a glimpse of the Canadian mutant doing what he does best. Which is using his adamantium claws to tear his enemies to pieces.
As well as Wolverine, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order will let you play as just about every superhero from Marvel’s vast catalogue, including Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, the Hulk, Scarlet Witch, Black Panther, Spider-Man, and many, many more.
Although Wolverine and his fellow X-Men won’t be appearing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for a very long time, the designs of most of the other characters set to be featured in the game, including the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy, are clearly based on how they appear in the MCU movies. And as you may have guessed from the title, Thanos and his group of minions known as the Black Order will serve as the main antagonists, so it looks like our heroes are going to have their work cut out for them.
The game is being developed by Team Ninja, who are known for the Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive franchises, and will be published by Nintendo exclusively on the Switch on July 19, 2019. With Marvel being more popular than ever right now, we can expect Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order to easily sell over one million copies.
