Marvel & Square Enix’s Avengers Game To Be Revealed At E3 2019

Finally.

Avengers

It seems like so long ago since the announcement that Marvel and Square Enix would be working together to release an Avengers game, so that makes today’s news seem more momentous as a result: Square Enix have announced that Marvel’s Avengers will get an official reveal as part of their E3 Showcase.

The showcase will start at 6pm PT on June 10th, which translates to 1am GMT on June 11th , so guess we’re staying up late to cover this news. The Avengers Project was announced back in 2017 as part of a multi-year, multi-game deal, but there’s been little in the way of details since then. Fingers crossed that the extra time in development will make for a stellar game.

With this reveal, Square Enix are set for an incredible showcase at E3, as they’ll also be revealing more details about the long-anticipated Final Fantasy 7 Remake, which should make for a better show than last year. Remember The Quiet Man, anyone? Now we just need Square Enix to announce a remake of The Bouncer and the circle will be complete.
