Mario has certainly been no stranger to sports games over the past few decades, and it looks like that love affair is set to continue with Mario Golf Super Rush, which is coming to the Nintendo Switch on June 25th, with pre-orders going live on the Nintendo eShop later today.
Mario Golf will once again see the famous Italian plumber and his various friends hit the links once again. Fingers crossed we’ll have a minigolf course based on Rainbow Road added to the game, just for the fun of it.
The trailer revealed a host of modes, including a Speed Golf mode where 4 players online will compete on the golf course at the same time, using power-ups to reach their ball quickly. There’s also a fully-fledged story mode, where you can use your Mii and level up your abilities, along with the ability to use motion controls or button controls when taking your swing.
If Super Rush is just as good Toadstool Tour, it should be a winner.
