Mafia: Trilogy was officially revealed today, with a full reveal scheduled for next week, but that hasn’t stopped a variety of leaks coming out of the woodwork, particularly regarding the first and second games. The Microsoft Store pages seems to have gone live ahead of time, revealing new screenshots and a potential release date for Mafia: Definitive Edition, which will be a full remake of the first game, and Mafia 2: Definitive Edition. Check out the tweets below.

The Store page states that Mafia: Definitive Edition will be released on August 28th, and will feature a completely remade Lost Heaven, along with a host of graphical and gameplay improvements. The game will also feature expanded story elements, as the store description promises that this is “the Mafia you remembered and much more”.

Screenshots for Mafia 2: Definitive Edition have also leaked online, which appears to be getting a bit more of a minor upgrade, including updated textures and lighting. The Microsoft Store page also states that Mafia 2: Definitive Edition will be launching on May 19th, the same day as the big Trilogy reveal. Guess that surprise launch has been spoiled.
