Loop Hero Cycling Onto Switch Next Month

The Hit PC Game gets a mobile port in a few short weeks.

Loop Hero game

Loop Hero, the critically acclaimed roguelike about rebuilding a ruined world through multiple expeditions and battles in a fantasy setting, will receive a Nintendo Switch port on December 9th.

Per Loop Hero’s Steam page:
“The Lich has thrown the world into a timeless loop and plunged its inhabitants into never ending chaos. Wield an expanding deck of mystical cards to place enemies, buildings, and terrain along each unique expedition loop for the brave hero. Recover and equip powerful loot for each class of hero for their battles and expand the survivors’ camp to reinforce each adventure through the loop. Unlock new classes, new cards, and devious guardians on your quest to shatter the endless cycle of despair.”

Players will unlock new cards to terraform their world and new characters with unique play styles across randomly generated loops (of which players will, presumably, be the hero). The sheer amount of customizability and different possible encounters makes Loop Hero an extremely appealing prospect for fans of never-ending games and roguelike randomness.

Loop Hero, developed by Four Quarters and published by Devolver Digital, was released on PC in March of this year and received a fair share of acclaim. Players who don’t have the option for PC gaming will finally get to see what the fuss is about when Loop Hero launches on Switch next month.

Loop Hero is currently available for a discounted pre-order on the Nintendo Switch eShop ahead of its official release on December 9th.
