Looks Like Fortnite Will Come To Nintendo Switch Tomorrow

It’s now almost as bankable that Nintendo Switch will be receiving a version of Fortnite as it is that EA will put on a cringeworthy press conference. Fortnite on Switch has been a rumour that just won’t dissipate, especially after some solid leaks not that far back at all.

Now, thanks miners of the Nintendo eShop, it looks like Fortnite will be announced tomorrow at Nintendo’s presser and then be available immediately on the store.

@SimonMKWii noticed the data for Fortnite hiding away in the eShop, which seems to be a pretty convincing page listing for the game.

Fortnite Switch

Of note, it seems that Fortnite will come with some Switch exclusive skins as well as it being its Battle Royale form; Save the World is neglected once again. It also appears as if Fortnite players on Switch will also be eligible to purchase a special starter pack.

Also worth pointing out is its tiny file size. The base file is 6GB+ on PS4, but here it’s just 2GB — Fortnite on Switch may be closer to its mobile version than its console brethren. We’ll just have to wait and see when the Nintendo conference kicks off at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST (June 12 at 2 AM for AET).
