Playing a cozy game and building a cute little life for yourself on a farm is appealing by itself, but there’s something about being able to show off your hard work to other people that really puts the cherry on top. Fortunately for players who are fans of bragging, Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth’s cozy game homage Dondoko Island also allows you to open up your island to visitors online, while you visit their islands too.
However, this is a feature you’ll need to unlock by sinking some time into the mode first. You’ll need to hit the threshold to become a three star resort, at which point Dondoko Farm will open up to you. Wait a day or two after that, and then you’ll trigger a cutscene where you’ll be introduced to PingWing, a parrot with an alarming level of tech knowledge. PingWing resides over on the Farm, and can be found near the cabin next to where you spawn in. Once you speak to the parrot, you’ll be able to visit the islands of other players, or upload your own island, allowing others to visit your place.
Because you have to upload your island, visiting another player’s island works more similarly to the Dream Address feature in Animal Crossing: New Horizons than actually exploring the island with another player. There is still some level of interactivity that players can enjoy while on another player’s island, including the ability to interact with the island’s guests, take on an AI controlled version of the player’s Sujimon party, or complete various missions which will earn you DokoMiles that can be spent in PingWing’s personal shop. The items are only cosmetic things like titles and profile icons, but those funny quotes aren’t going to unlock themselves.
